Bursledon Brickworks
A museum and conservation centre based in a former brickworks dating from 1897, The Hampshire Buildings Preservation Trust Ltd operates the site which features displays covering the history of the brickworks, traditional building materials and conservation practice. The original stationary steam engine, powering the pugmill, has been restored to working order and operates on open days. Details of opening times and events can be obtained from:

Kew Bridge Steam Museum
Kew Bridge Steam Museum has a world celebrated collection of Cornish beam engines which includes the largest working beam engine anywhere. Together with other working pumping engines brought in from elsewhere, these are housed in an equally impressive range of Grade I and II* listed buildings.
